click Build → Realtime Database → Create Database (start in test mode)
click the ⚙️ gear → Project settings → scroll to "your apps" → add a Web app → copy the firebaseConfig object
paste it into the firebaseConfig variable near the bottom of this file's code, where it says PASTE_YOUR_CONFIG_HERE
